Although I’m saddened that my brother could not enjoy this holiday with us in body, he was with us in spirit every day of this amazing week. This time away came at a crucial time for us and helped us so much with our healing thank you so much for making it all possible. Thank you to those who made possible the vouchers. Spending time with animals and time with nature at the lodge made an indescribable impact on us.

Although it was very difficult for us to make the decision to come for a week away from home very recently after my son Ali died, I am glad that we made the right choice.  
Ali was very excited when he received the letter offering this place to us. He wrote to all the family overseas telling them the ins and outs of the holiday that we were going to have.
Sadly he didn’t make it in person but we constantly felt his presence with us. This magical place helped us to grieve by being together in such a peaceful place. Just to be able to sit and look out the window was enchanting for me. I am very grateful to all who were involved in creating this special place.  so much thought put into it, so much trust on us to look after it.  No price could ever put on what you have given us. Thank you with all my heart. 

The things that happen to us all makes us appreciate special things like spending more time with our families and appreciateing what we have. Fiona lodge is a special place that lets families have time together and take time out. Thank you for having us Ron McDonald charities and Bateman’s Bay community.

A big thank you to everyone involved who keep this great community house available and going we haven’t had a holiday in three and a half years since my son Caleb was having treatment and lost both is eyes to cancer. Even thou Caleb can’t see he still had a great time with his family. The kids had a great time at all the local attractions a fantastic family holiday had by all. We had a great time this week visiting bird land , the beaches, fishing, kicking the footy on the beach, kite flying , table tennis a cruise on the escapade and best fish and chips in Australia for lunch on the cruise; bushwalking feeding the magpies on the balcony and dinner out to the Tomakin sports club.

Thank you for a wonderful week. What a beautiful home. We have enjoyed ourselves immensely. We are blown away by the generosity of so many in this community. And thank you everyone who has made all of this possible we take home with us great memories of the fun times we had here together as a family. Thank you

We would all like to sincerely thank everyone involved in making Fiona lodge a reality. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves it brought tears to our eyes watching Liam at the zoo pony riding, bird land with a snake around his neck, he didn’t want to go home.  We will all have the best memories from our time here. Thank you thank you form the bottom of our hearts.

It was great to be able to go on a family holiday and spend quality time together thank you to all the local businesses that support this very worthwhile cause. This holiday has been such a blessing to us all, thanks.

A beautiful house in a wonderful relaxing setting. Just the break we needed before we return home to the seemingly endless treatments and hospitalization. Thank you to everyone involved we have gained some lovely memories

Thank you seems so inadequate when trying to express the deep feeling of gratitude we would like to convey. Ronald McDonald house was there when our need was great providing accommodation and allowing us to be close to our son. They are here again giving us the most restful and relaxing holiday since Charles diagnosis. Thank you. Thank you to all those involved in the lodge and to all the local community and businesses including mogo zoo and mogo old town tomakin sports club putt putt crew and co of the boat birdland .  Arthur and his brothers had a wonderful week away from home and hospital. 

What can I say that will do justice to how I feel. After a really crap 18 months this holidays was the start of a new beginning. We had the most amazing time here . This holiday gave our family the change to come together again and experience some normality. Thank you to everyone that made this holiday possible. Such generosity has made me truly humble. I think the phrase ‘Heaven on earth’ just about sums it all up. We would like to thank RMC for this opportunity. This holiday has helped my family reconnect and escape the stresses of my illness. Thank you
