Where to Get Started

When first time visitors arrive in Batemans Bay the question they usually ask is ‘what’s to see and do’?

Firstly, drop in to the Batemans Visitors Centre which is located next to McDonald's on the corner of Beach Road and the Princes Highway. The staff are locals, who know how to help you make the most of your visit.

If you want to be organised before hand ring them on the freecall number 1800 802 528. Staff can post you the Eurobodalla Holiday Planner that not only has holiday ideas but includes a local map of Batemans Bay and the region as well as a list of restaurants and Clubs to help you all relax and enjoy your stay.

Must Do's When Visiting the Eurobodalla Region

  • Take the Merinda Cruise up the Clyde River and get some hot fish and chips for the journey from ‘the Boats Shed’.
  • A trip to Mogo Zoo is sure to delight the whole family, the zoo is well recognised for its  successful breeding program of Samatran white tigers.  www.mogozoo.com.au
  • Birdland is a favourite where you can get up close and personal with one of the resident wombats, a cuddly koula or for the more dventurous amongst you a python snake. www.birdlandanimalpark.com.au
